If you are going to be posting something that you found elsewhere, please make sure and directly link to that source and credit the author of the good - this is more so when creating a tutorial from code you have found. I would rather that users post their own code, but this is not required.
As a last note, anyone is free to post a code snippet in this forum. If you have something you wish to share that's maybe not big enough to be a proper MOD, then by all means post it. Sometimes the simplest little changes are the best ones
Edit: A short update on posting in this forum - I have changed permissions so that regular users will have their topics approved before posting. My reasoning behind this is that I have a MOD installed that AutoTweets new snippets to my twitter account. I would rather these tweets are legitimate snippets and not just general questions
